Winter Storms

Storms always make for great, swirling, roiling, boiling clouds!
I live, work, and shoot... just north of San Francisco, Ca., in San Rafael.
Our weather mostly comes in from the west/off the Pacific ocean...
But it can also come from the north, Canada, the bay of Alaska...
or occasionally from the south = the pineapple express, with lots of tropical moisture. When all these things collide? Who knows what will happen.
It's about air masses, with varying degrees of moisture and temperature, colliding, and being compressed by the land/elevation...
